Rehu Tai
Rehu Tai 2020 is going ahead and finals are planned for early Term 4!
Rehu Tai is an augmentation of our traditional speech competitions and includes the oral language streams of:
- Rap
- Spoken Word
- Flash Talk
- Traditional speech
The festival will go ahead either as a face to face event or as a digital event, depending on any alert level restrictions at the time. We are excited to be growing this event in 2020 and hope the following information helps you to involve your cluster in this fast growing festival.
Language speech finals are run separately and more information can be sourced from the specific language cluster organisers.
Information
All information can be found on our Rehu Tai website - this includes organisation, exemplars and resources.
Theme
Our 2020 Theme is WISDOM - whaia te mātauranga hei oranga mō koutou ~ seek after learning for the sake of your wellbeing
Our theme is strategically broad to allow for interpretation and creativity - this allows for artistic interpretation and lends itself to either direct or inferred meanings - as deep and philosophical or as literal as students want to go. The aim is to be inclusive of all learners regardless of their ability and should be accessible by all cultures. All presentation must align with the theme
